Root canal treatment usually takes more than one visit, and the number of visits depends on the tooth and the extent of infection. If your time in Busan is limited, please share your travel dates at your first visit. The doctor will explain whether treatment can be completed during your stay, and what options you have if it can't. What should I expect between visits?
Between appointments, a temporary filling is usually placed. Mild sensitivity to pressure or temperature is common during treatment. If the temporary filling comes loose, or if swelling or pain suddenly gets worse, please contact the clinic rather than waiting for your next appointment.
Can I ask questions about my treatment in English?
Yes. Your consultation with the doctor is in English. The doctor will explain why a treatment is recommended, what your X-rays show, and how many visits to expect — so you understand not just the conclusion, but the reasons behind it.
